    That's nothing like a kimono, its more like the gi worn for martial arts and is a styke that can be found qll over Asia. Kimono are floor length Japanese robes with huge poket-sleeves, oftrn very formal. I think you're using kimono as a synonym for Asian or Japanese.

      Kimono literally means "a thing to wear" or "a thing to put on," from the Japanese roots ki, "wear," and mono, "thing."
